In the streets of Kathmandu—and in the streets of many cities around the world—some of the most vulnerable women are exploited, trafficked, abused, and sold. But behind every statistic and every headline is a human life. A personal story. A woman who once entered this world as an innocent child, carrying dreams and dignity, yet was not protected by the environment where she grew up or in other ways got trapped. This video is our way of lifting up the value of these women. Like Mary from Magdala in the Bible, whom Jesus saw beyond society’s labels, we believe every person is more than the pain or the past others see. Jesus restored her life, and her story is still told today. We filmed this music video in Nepal together with Nepali actors to reflect real stories and real hope. Through this and other initiatives, Land of Hope seeks to support vulnerable women in Nepal and in other parts of the world. Because every human life matters. Every person carries immeasurable worth. “Oh, the value of a human being—created in the image of God.”
